At thirteen I watched the Wall come down on television in Bremen, then drove with my mother to Rostock to see what freedom looked like from the other side. At nineteen I moved to New York. I studied opera at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena, ran a nightclub, ended up on a trading floor at Lehman Brothers, and built an energy company called Entrade that scaled across Europe.
Then I lost €100M. The company, the reputation, the certainty — all of it. I moved to Bali, started from zero, and built fifteen companies across AI, fintech, media, and education. Today those companies generate €1.6M+ in annual revenue with 60%+ margins, all bootstrapped from a rice terrace in Ubud. And I wrote the book about it.
